Im new to the website. My dogs name is Major. He is now 7 months old, i will post pics from 7 weeks till now.
Thank you Lady Kate, we are very excited about joining the online community for people who love their Dobermans. Sofia is a beautiful dog, i was debating on getting a red female myself.
Hi CP3, and welcome! Major is gorgeous - and I love his name. His ears are beautiful! Sounds like his posting took pretty fast. Ginger is here with me now and upset that I am posting and not giving her my undivided attention. She is standing here with her chin on my leg, just looking up at me. 
Hi Ginger, Thank you very much for the compliments. We are very happy and proud of how his ears turned out. You are right, it only took about 5 weeks of posting for them to stand. He only has a long, not show, cut. Might be one reason they stood quickly. He's getting big, and more of a handful everyday. More pics to come. Its nice to have met on here. Keep in touch.

Yes, indeed your boy is quite handsome! We are looking forward to hearing the many evil stories that come with these devil children...I absolutely adore his name. Why did you name him that?

The CP3 - Welcome. He has such a sweet face, I guess because the rust comes up a little higher than on most black/rust Dobies. You can see the intelligence and interest in his eyes. I bet you do have to be on your toes to keep ahead of him.
Dobieluvr- Thank you very much for the kind words. As far as naming him, my wife was the originator. We are very big Texas Longhorn fans, and my all-time favorite player is Major Applewhite. I know kind of cheesy right? However, it seems to fit him pretty good and we are very happy with our decision. We do get alot of comments about his name, and its always nice to hear that its a good one instead of an overused or just stupid one.
