Where I got an inexpensive 48" Crate
I purchased a LifeStages Folding Dog Crate that is 30" x 48" x 33" for a dog up to 110 lbs on Doctors Foster and Smith online. It was $89.99 and with shipping it was around $96.00. They have this same crate at PETCO and PetSmart for about $50-70 more. It comes with a divider which is great because I can change the size of the crate to fit my much growing dobie Lucian's size. It is easy to clean and folds with ease. As with any crate it is heavy and weighs I put the link to the exact page on drsfostersmith.com below! Just thought I would share that great deal with everyone else!

I'm book-marking petedge! That's some awesome prices! Thanks for the great site!
I was recently looking for a larger crate myself and I ended up finding on locally but I found some great deals on a site I actually use for motorcycle ramps and parts. If the local one didn't work out I would have had an XXL on the way...just another option for you all
Thanks for that link. Not for the crates, but the variety of available dog ramps.
glad to be of help,....
I have a kennel similar to what's in the link lori gave, and those are great, they fold up in 5 seconds if you have to go somewhere and either don't have a truck, or don't have much room in your car/truck.
Red and Princess both have the MidWest versions, Red has the 48" and Princess the 42". When I took Princess to Texas last Christmas, I had a cover for it and I put it in the back of the van and with the cover and pad, it was her den for the trip and she was a fantastic traveler. I could not have gotten a 48" version in there. The 42" is the right size for here at home as well, she is a more normal sized Dobie.
Now if I could just get her to quit chewing pencils and pens, life would be good.
I also would check out PetEdge.I order a lot from them.
That's where I got mine. I have even purchased some of the grooming items to use on the Schnauzers. About all they get saved is the beard and eye brows as I skin them mostly because if I don't they drag in the woods (for the Dobe people all sorts of stuff gets caught in their longer under body hair).

Wow, jen3493, you must really expect Lucian to be big boy when he grows up. Red has a 48"x30" Double Door life stages, although I disposed of the panel a long time ago as he is 30" tall and weighs 100 pounds. I got the double door because of where it is situated, the side door is the one that gets used. Princess has the 42" x 28" as she is only 27" tall and weighs 70 pounds.
I got mine at PetEdge whose main line is really grooming supplies and I started getting their catalog when I ordered a few items to groom my Schnauzers.
