Well, Niko has been home for 5 days now, and let me say it has been an adventure!!  He is such a pistol, fearless, playful, and a chewing machine!!! LOL  He's learning "No Bite", he's at about 60% with it.  Not bad for 7 weeks-old.  Once he starts to bite on us, we tell him "No Bite" grab his muzzle and then give him a chew.  He usually ignores the chew and starts licking us instead!!

He's taken to his crate really well, he sleeps most of the night through.  It depends on how much we play before bedtime.  But, on average I'm up about once or twice a night.  Not too bad.  Some nights he sleeps all the way through, I still get up and check on him though.  I figure if he's snoring he's happy!!

As far as his potty training is going, I think it's not too bad either.  I've had a couple of accidents, but I'm getting better at reading his tells.  He's begining to associate "Go Outside to Potty" with the door.  And as soon he gets out of his crate he runs to the door, so all in all I think he's doing pretty awesome!!  Not that I'm partial or anything!! LOL

My wonderful brother has been puppy-sitting for me when I go to work, and he is so great with Niko.  Niko has a blast playing with Hazel and Dexter, and of course my nephews!!  When I pick him up he is so tuckered out!!  I know a lot of people probably say this, but I am so grateful to have my brother and his wife in my life.  They mean a lot to me, they opened their home and their time up to care for my new little guy while I was at work, all so he didn't have to be alone.  They ROCK!!

I can't think of anything else to add, other than I love Niko so much, I already can't imagine my life without him in it.  Pita has come around to him, somewhat, she still won't play with him, but she'll lay next to him when he sleeps!! 

Now, if I can only get him to stop chewing EVERYTHING!!!  LOL  Well, we'll work on that!!  Thanks for reading!!
