So I am a First time Dobermom! Looking for advice... We used our Breeder's Vet to crop our pup's ears. We did a lot of research prior to picking our pup and understood it would be a process for these ears following surgery. We had a completely different experience than what we had read about online. We weren't sent home with pain meds or antibiotics. She was sent home with her ears wrapped. (Trust me, that didn't last long.) Then two weeks later we went back to get stitches out and were surprised that we were told we did not need to post her ears. At All! Her ears do stand but I'm worried if we don't post them now then the ears will fall later. I can't find anything online about not posting your pups ears. Just curious what other experienced Dobermoms and Dads would say. Should we post her ears anyway??

Looks like you got a shorter type of crop. I would still post.

I would post till she's done teething at least.

Thank you both! She is such a hyper little girl so this will be fun!

you definitely need to post them - they look to be developing pockets.

You should definitely post them. Maybe not until she is done teething, but definitely for two months, at least.

Make sure to give her lots of treats everytime you finish posting them. Many people suggest treating the puppy while you're still posting, but I don't do that - Atila starts to wiggle and sniff around, and it gets harder for me to post them, as he cannot keep calm once he smells treats.
