My husband and I went away for the long Labor Day weekend and had Raven boarded at her favorite place. We picked her up yesterday and notice later that evening she has a rash in her groin area. It's red and kind of spotted together. No raised bumps and she hasn't been scratching at it or licking it. Wanted to see if anyone had seen something like this before.

It could be a number of things.. from prickly heat ( Where do you live?) to allergies... although I would think those would itch and she'd be at least licking it. Can you take a picture of it and send it? Maybe someone here will know by looking.. I think I would take her to your vet to check out.

I will try and get a picture of it at lunch, if I she will be still enough. lol.  We live in Alabama and it's hot and muggy.  It she still has it for a couple more days I will take her to the vet Sat.

When I went home and looked it's almost gone.  Barely even a light pink now.  Weird, I don't know what it was but glad it wasn't a problem.

Sometimes rashes like that will come and go. On occasion I will look at Red and think there is a problem, and he is licking himself. The next morning it is gone. It is best to keep an eye on them for they won't complain. They don't like Doctors any more than I do, but I have learned to live with them over the years.
