Okay, so Niko is going to be 7 months-old tomorrow.  We weighed and measured him tonight just for fun.  Well, he is 27" at his shoulder and a whopping 97 lbs.  He's not overweight at all, he gets lots of exercise; I'm just concerned about his size, he's so massive already and has a long way to grow yet.  Is there anything I should be concerned about?  His sire was a good sized dobie, but I think that Niko is going to be larger than his sire.  I couldn't believe it when we weighed him, I still look at him and can see that little 12 lbs. puppy I brought home in February!!  And I swear there are times he does have that little baby look on his face!!

I know, I'm paranoid!  I guess he's just gonna be a big boy; I just wanna make sure that it's not something I should worry about.

I love my big lug!!

Wow!!!what a big boy, seem's awful heavy for a seven month old that's a lot of weight for growing bones. But I'm not an expert I'm sure someone with more expertise than I will let you know.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about.  He's not fat by any means...he's just big.  He's already got a chest on him and he's solid.  It's like nobody told him he was supposed to fill out at a 1-1 1/2 years old!!

He doesn't have any fat on him and he loves to run, walk and play.  Like I said earlier I'm just concerned that he may have some health problems later on because of his size.  Here's a couple of pics we just took of him for a reference on how big he is.

These pics were taken about a week ago, at most.

Wow he is a big boy.  But Harley has stayed on the small end, so it is hard to compare.  Even though Harley is still a puppy and has tons of energy, the doctors told us that his thyroid is low.  Maybe you should have Niko's checked, just in case.  It can't hurt!
