We just added our 2nd dobe to our family (nola), this is my first female dog, and Im a little confused about her down belows. Are they supposed to stick out, it dosnt stick out much just about the length of a finger nail. We already took her to the vet and they didnt say anything about it.

Have you ever seen a female before?  Does she look like that?  If you have a concern about it, I would talk to her breeder.

I think it sounds normal, I have never had a female dobie but my minpin sticks out. I agree with Fitzmar though, if you are concerned I would ask the breeder or the vet.

yes, it "sticking out" is normal, but she shouldn't look like a dude lol.  A fingernail sounds like about the right length to me.

I can't just guess from your description - it does not really tell me anything. That why I recommend talking to your breeder - your vet would know also.

Haha I had the same question when I got my girl pup. It sticks out a little now, and looks big for the pups size. However when she gets bigger and bigger it will start to look more normal.

Do not let her get into heat^^ It will be about the size of a golf ball!
