A breeder told me she used to give her dobies cod liver oil in their food and it kept their coats thick and shiny.. Someone else stated the you need to suppliment Vit E at the same time..

What do you think? How much? How often?

The Doberman people I know recommend salmon oil.

Personally, I give 1 1000 mg fish/salmon oil capsule daily and 1 400 IU vitamin E capsule.

Thanks... I'll look for it...What's the difference in the oil? Do you ever put olive oil in their dinner?

There's one site I pulled up when I googled cod liver oil vs salmon oil for dogs.  There were others.
