I have always been afraid of Dobermans. I was attacked by one as a child. But recently I meet an extremely friendly Doberman who was the coolest dog I ever met. Now I am dieing for a Doberman. Is it normal for Doberman puppies to turn out friendly like this?

If you find a well breed Doberman puppy with friendly parents and raise it properly with consistent training and socialization, there is no reason your Doberman will not turn out just as cool or cooler than the one you refer to.

Just be careful. It is tempting to rush into Doberman ownership. Your first step is finding a Master Breeder.
