Are rescue Dobermans safe?

The bottom line with any rescue dog is: you don’t know what you are getting. I only suggest a rescue Doberman to people experienced with training and who are willing and able to deal with behavioral problems, no matter what they are. Bringing an already wronged dog into your home, then deciding it’s not "working-out" is certainly unfair.

Taking in a rescue Doberman is a wonderful thing if done for the right reasons. Rescuing a Doberman to save the upfront cost is the wrong reason.

There is one advantage to rescue Dobermans and rescue animals alike. Once they realize they are in a secure home with a loving family, you will have the most appreciative and loving companion there can possibly be.
